We bring sample boards to your home so you can see them in your own light, against your own walls, before you decide anything.

You get a written estimate covering the heating system, the flooring and the fitting, with no obligation to go ahead.
Materials we stand behind
The underfloor heating systems we supply are designed and manufactured here in Scotland.
For flooring we work directly with Kährs, Parador, Boen and Quickstep, which means you get manufacturer-backed products rather than whatever a merchant happens to have in stock.

Frequently asked Questions
Measure the free floor area only - the part you actually walk on. Leave out baths, shower trays, kitchen units and anything else fixed in place, because heating under them has nowhere to go and can damage what sits above it.
Then round down to the nearest size we stock. Heating elements must never be cut shorter or overlapped.
We supply carbon film, which suits engineered wood, laminate and carpet. It is a dry-lay system, so there is no adhesive, no screed and no wet trades.
Carbon film is not earthed, so it is not suitable for bathrooms or any other wet area. Ring us before ordering if you are unsure about your room.
Every system needs a thermostat. On wood, laminate and carpet you also need insulation below the element and a vapour barrier above it - without the insulation a good part of your heat goes into the subfloor rather than the room.
Carbon film systems carry a ten year guarantee. Thermostats and insulation carry three.
The guarantee covers the element itself rather than damage caused during fitting, so keep your installation record.

The element itself is designed to be laid by a competent DIYer, and full instructions come in the box. The final electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician to meet the wiring regulations.
