Ecofilm is an ultra-thin 130W/m² electric heating element for approved floating engineered wood, laminate and carpet constructions. It is installed as a dry system above the specified insulation and below a protective PET vapour barrier.

Ecofilm, is rated at 130W/m2 Just select the nearest size you require to provide maximum floor coverage, and Carbon Heat will tailor the product to your room dimensions. The Ecofilm system is NOT suitable for installation in a bathroom, this is because its not an earthed product.
Before choosing a size
Measure only the clear floor area, excluding fixed units, baths, shower trays and other permanently covered areas. Send us the room plan and we will select the element widths and lengths. Do not shorten, fold or overlap the supplied elements.
Installation limits
This Ecofilm product is not earthed and must not be installed in a bathroom or another wet area. The final connection, thermostat and testing must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the installation instructions and applicable wiring regulations.
Delivery and guarantee
Free next-day delivery to mainland UK on complete heating systems, with no minimum order. Accessories ordered on their own may be sent by standard delivery - ask us before ordering if the date matters.
This system carries a 10 year guarantee, subject to the manufacturer's installation terms. It covers the heating element itself rather than damage caused during fitting, so keep your installation record.
